Sprout Cup is a handmade stoneware ceramic drinking cup designed and crafted in our studio.

With a volume of 250 ml (8.5 fl oz), it is intended for coffee, tea, and other hot or cold beverages.

Made from high-fired stoneware and finished with a food-safe, lead-free glaze.

Each piece is handmade, glazed, and fired, creating natural variations in surface, color, and dimensions. These differences are part of the process and make each object unique.

Sprout Cup was the first ceramic object designed and handmade in our studio.

The concept began as an attempt to create a handleless mug without compromising comfort and ergonomics. A small organic detail emerges from the upper part of the cup as if a handle had started to form and paused in place — giving the piece its name, Sprout.

Working together with the tapered profile, this detail supports the grip and gives the cup its distinctive stance while maintaining the clarity of a handleless design.

The Stone Grey glaze keeps the object visually calm, allowing the proportions and transitions of the surface to become the focus.
