Trace is a handcrafted solid wood jewelry and trinket dish designed and made in our studio.

Created for storing and displaying jewelry, small personal objects, and everyday essentials. It is also a great decorative wooden object on its own.

Crafted from ethically sourced solid walnut wood and finished by hand. The surface is treated with a natural finish that preserves the richness of the wood, its tactile quality, and the character of the material.

Each piece is individually handmade, resulting in natural variation in grain and tone. These differences are inherent to the material and make every object unique.

Trace jewelry and trinket tray is shaped through a two-sided 3D sculpting process that creates a continuous organic surface flowing and dipping across the entire design.

the resulting geometry is a concave impression, as if a trace had been pressed into an organic mass of wood, giving the tray its name. Sculpting from both sides also forms a convex underside that allows the object to balance and creates the impression of floating above the surface.

The walnut wood and natural finish bring contrast to the object, while the more expressive grain follows and accentuates the sculpted contours.
