Meet Chirpie the Tea Pot, a playful yet minimal ceramic teapot designed and handcrafted by KAFAOUIN at GRAYN Design Studio. With its bold silhouette, asymmetric charm, and vivid pop-culture–inspired glaze, Chirpie brings personality and functional design together in one striking piece.

Crafted from high-fired stoneware (1240°C), this teapot is built to last — durable, food-safe, and made for everyday tea rituals or special moments with others. The ergonomic handle, smooth-pouring spout, and secure lid make each use effortless, while the sculptural forms highlight a blend of mid-century Bauhaus influence and modern minimalism.

Using a precise slip-casting process, each piece achieves clean, bold shapes that would be impossible through traditional wheel-throwing or hand-building methods. Like all other our objects, this teapot is designed, developed, and produced from scratch in our studio, resulting in a unique handcrafted character.

Our Ceramics

All of our products are designed and produced at our studio.

Food safe and functional ceramics: We use Stoneware clays fired at high temperatures to achieve full vitrification. Additionally, all of our glazes are lead-free and food-safe certified.

We pay attention to every last detail, and we do our best to deliver the best quality possible. Thus, we treat every imperfection with care, and we carry out our own quality control on regular basis.

Every product is unique. Its character depends on the natural fluctuations of the materials we use in production. With our transparency policy at core, we would like to inform our customers that items might have their own natural imperfections and differ from each other within set limits.

  • Body: Stoneware Clay 1220-1280 °C.

    Glaze: High temperature lead/ cadmium-free and food-safe glaze. 1220 - 1280 °C.
