Papillon is a handcrafted solid wood jewelry and trinket tray designed and made in our studio.

Designed to stand on its own as a sculptural centrepiece, or to store and display jewelry, small personal objects, and everyday essentials.

3D carved from ethically sourced solid maple wood and finished entirely by hand. A natural surface treatment preserves the original tone of the timber and highlights its tactile quality and material honesty.

Because each tray is individually made, variations in grain, tone, and surface are part of the character of the object and make every piece unique.

Papillon is shaped through a 3D sculpting process that creates a fluid transition between two asymmetrical side profiles.

The top surface remains flowing and organic, while the clean-cut sides and base introduce contrast and give the dish a refined appearance.

The light maple wood and natural finish place emphasis on the sculpted form, while the subtle grain follows and accentuates the contours of the tray.
